Russian Artur Beterbiev faces Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk this Friday night in Philadelphia in a light heavyweight unifcation showdown. Four members of the BM team are here with their predictions...

This is one of the most interesting fights of the year so far and it could end up being a cracker. I'm leaning towards Gvozdyk in a competitive one over 12 rounds. I think he's more than capable of nullifying Beterbiev, building up a lead and taking it on points. He may have to pick himself off the canvas along the way though! Gvozdyk by unanimous decision. - Lee Gormley

I think Gvozdyk takes this. He's the harder hitter, he's faced better opposition, he's more experienced, he's slightly more active and he's a tad younger. I think a late round stoppage is likely, in the final quarter of the bout. - Colin Harris

I like Gvozdyk by unanimous decision in a mostly technical bout. The Ukrainian has been more active over the last three years and faced better opposition. I believe that activity and experience will pay off for him. - Michael Montero

I've been a big Beterbiev fan for quite some time now so, at the risk of letting my heart rule my head, I'm backing the Russian to unify. I agree with others that this will be a largely technical fight but I suspect there's more to Beterbiev than we've seen so far. I'm mainly just glad the fight is taking place - both men are terrifying in their own right, but their eagerness to unify is good for the sport. - Oliver McManus

Final tally: Gvozdyk 3 Beterbiev 1
