Ahead of his upcoming World Boxing Super Series quarter-final showdown with Ivan Baranchyk, Swedish super lightweight Anthony Yigit gives Boxing Monthly his views on the eight-man field in the competition...

Yigit on ... Anthony Yigit (21-0-1, 7 KOs):
"I would say - I’m skilful, I’m fast, fast on my feet and with the heart of a warrior!"

Yigit on ... Ivan Baranchyk (18-0, 11 KOs):
"Ah Baranchyk! ‘The Beast’! A tough guy really! But I think this is the best fight for me to test myself, so I can see if I have got what it takes to you know step up and get into world-class fights."

Yigit on ... Regis Prograis (22-0, 19 KOs):
"
He’s seeded number one. He’s supposed to be the toughest one in the division. I believe he’s the second toughest, but he’s a very good fighter."

Yigit on ... Terry Flanagan (33-1, 13 KOs):
"I’ve heard a lot about him. I haven’t followed his career that much in the lightweights. He’s a former world champion in the lightweights so he poses a big threat."

Yigit on ... Josh Taylor (13-0, 11 KOs):
"I think Josh Taylor is the toughest one in the division. I better make sure I’m ready if I get to fight him. He deserves the hype, he’s a great fighter. Very talented. I saw his fight against Viktor Postol and he was excellent."

Yigit on ... Ryan Martin (22-0, 12 KOs):
"I haven’t heard or seen much about him before. He’s a humble guy though, I met him at the gala. He’s a very nice guy. I wish him all the best."

Yigit on ... Kiryl Relikh (22-2, 19 KOs):
"He’s from Belarus and I saw him when he fought Ricky Burns. His style, at least in that fight, was very similar to mine. I haven’t followed him much since, but when I saw he was going to be in the tournament I watched another fight of his, in which he went in quite recklessly, he was swinging a lot. A tough, dangerous fighter."

Eduard Troyanovsky (27-1, 24 KOs):
"He’s the veteran of the tournament. He has a lot of experience and fights under his belt. He was ice cold during the whole gala thing! He seems like a nice guy though."
