Gonzalez hails 'great honour' as he tops BM online P4P poll again

After an extensive survey of the Boxing Monthly online team the latest ‘pound for pound’ results are in. Our writers were asked to provide their current P4P top ten, with boxers awarded ten points every time they were placed first, nine points every time they ranked second and so on.

The results of our top ten are displayed below, with Roman Gonzalez maintaining his status as P4P king. The Nicaraguan, who was won world titles in four different weight categories and is currently an amazing 46-0 (38 KOs), sent a tweet of thanks to Boxing Monthly online after learning of the results, declaring: "Muchas gracias. Un gran honor. Bendiciones / Thank you very much. Great honor. God bless."

Each panellist ranked their top ten in order, with the boxer placed first receiving ten points, second nine points, third eight points and so on. Boxers were then ranked by the overall number of points accrued.
